Obituary of Katherine Ramona Bartlett

Celebration of Life services for Katherine Ramona Bartlett , 70, will be held at 2:00 p.m.,Monday, February 4 at Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder LA., with Waylon Durrham officiating the services. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Hopewell Cemetery, DeRidder, LA . The family would like to accept guests for visitation Monday, February 4, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Katherine was born December 21, 1942, in Tampa, FL. to the late Raymond and Mable Sherer. She was called to be with her Lord on Friday, February 1, 2013 in DeRidder, LA . Katherine is most remembered in DeRidder for her compassionate work as an X-ray technician at a local hospital in DeRidder. Katherine was always willing to help others in their time of need. She was also very strong, a hardworking and self-motivated independent individual .Katherine's family and friends where very important to her throughout her life. She loved country music, dancing, oil painting and having a good time with friends and family. Ms. Bartlett was preceded in death by; her parents. Left to cherish Katherine's beautiful memories are; her sons Dexter W. Bartlett Jr. and his wife Mandy of Sugartown, LA., Mike Bartlett of DeRidder, LA.; her daughter Terri Coffin and husband Douglas of DeRidder, LA., and five wonderful grandchildren.
