Obituary of Pauline M Trahan

Pauline M. Trahan - Celebration of life services for Pauline M. Trahan, 89, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 29, 2013, in the Hixson Chapel, DeRidder, LA, with Pastor, Jay Alexander officiating the service. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Beauregard Cemetery, DeRidder, LA. The family would like to accept guests for visitation Monday, April 29, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until service time,at Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, LA. Mrs. Trahan was born February 4 ,1924 in Sabine County Tx. and was called to her Heavenly home, April 24, 2013 at her residence in DeRidder, LA. She attended the Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing and volunteering. She volunteered at the clothes bank, she was very independent and loved and enjoyed life. She was everyones angel. She was a loving mother who always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed and treasured by those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: May Farrell, and Ann Segura , two brothers: Austin McElroy and Hoy Clark, Mrs. Trahans husband Oris Trahan and one daughter; Kathie Martin. Left to cherish Mrs. Trahans memories will be her beloved sons and one daughter, two sons: Glenn Trahan and wife Martha, and Ronald Trahan and wife Ann. Daughter: Judy Elliott and Alan. Mrs. Trahan had 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Trahan also had a numerous amount of nieces and nephews that she cherished greatly along with many wonderful friends.
