Obituary of Lewis Arlen Magnuson

Memorial Services for Lewis Arlen Magnuson, 81, of DeRidder, were held Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace church in DeRidder, LA, Bro. George L. Glass, Sr. and Bro. George Lee Glass officiated. Mr. Magnuson was born August 25, 1931 to Rudolph Carl Magnuson and Delpha Erin Lewis Magnuson and made his journey home Thursday, July 25, 2013. He enjoyed riding his tractor and planting his garden. He loved playing his Banjo and Dobro among other instruments. Mr. Magnuson is preceded in death by his parents: Rudolph Carl Magnuson and Delpha Erin Lewis Magnuson; two brothers: Richard and Rudy Magnuson; one son: Marty Magnuson. He is survived by his loving wife: Nell Magnuson, of DeRidder; sons: Kenny Magnuson (Cindy) of Lake Charles, LA, Danny Cloud of Memphis, TN; daughters: Peggy Turner (Glen) od Shawnee, OK, Shari Rodgers (Joey) of Lafayette, LA, Jeanie Brasseaux (Craig) of Lafayette, LA; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
